Window Cleaning in Fredericksburg, TX
Clear Choice cleans windows for homes and businesses in Fredericksburg and across the Texas Hill Country. Every job includes the exterior glass, screens, and tracks — not just the parts you can see from the street. If you find a streak within a week of us leaving, call and we'll come back and fix it free.
What does window cleaning cost in Fredericksburg?
Pricing is based on how many windows your home has — not square footage, and not an hourly rate. That means the number we quote you is the number you pay, and a slow day doesn't cost you more than a fast one.
Interior cleaning and glass protectant are each priced as a percentage of your base rate, so they scale with the size of the job rather than being flat add-ons.
If you clean more than once a year, an annual plan brings the rate down:
Basic — one cleaning a year
Silver — two a year, 10% off everything, water spot removal included free
Gold — four a year, 20% off everything, water spot removal included free
The plans exist because most homes here genuinely need more than one cleaning a year, and paying full price twice makes no sense.
Call or text for a free quote. If you can tell us roughly how many windows you have, we can usually give you the number over the phone without a site visit.
What's included in a window cleaning?
Every cleaning includes four things as standard:
Exterior glass — hand-washed, squeegeed, edges detailed
Screens — removed, cleaned, and put back
Tracks — vacuumed and wiped, where the dirt actually collects
Sills — wiped down before we leave
Most quotes you'll get in this area cover the glass and nothing else. Screens and tracks get treated as extras or skipped entirely, which is why windows look clean for about a week and then don't. Dirt sitting in the track washes back onto the glass the first time it rains.
Interior glass — priced relative to your base rate
Water spot removal — for mineral deposits that regular cleaning won't touch
Optional add-ons:
Glass protectant — a sealant that slows down how fast spots come back
How often should windows be cleaned in the Hill Country?
Twice a year works for most homes here — once in spring after cedar pollen season, once in fall.
Some situations need more:
Every three months if you're on or near a caliche or gravel road. The dust is constant and it bonds to glass faster than most people expect. This covers a lot of properties outside town.
Between guests if you run a short-term rental. Fredericksburg's whole economy runs on visitors, and clean windows are one of the first things a guest notices in a listing photo and one of the first things they mention when they aren't.
Once a year is genuinely fine for a newer home in town with covered windows and no unpaved roads nearby.
Our Silver plan covers the twice-a-year schedule, and Gold covers quarterly — which is why they're priced the way they are.
Why do Hill Country windows get water spots?
Because the water here is hard, and hard water leaves minerals behind when it dries.
Well water across Gillespie and Kerr counties carries a heavy calcium and magnesium load. When sprinkler overspray or rain hits your glass and evaporates, the water leaves — the minerals don't. They bond to the surface of the glass.
This is the part most people don't realize: normal window cleaning will not remove them. Soap and a squeegee take off dirt sitting on top of the glass. Mineral deposits aren't sitting on top — they've chemically attached. You can wash a spotted window perfectly and it will still look spotted, because the spots aren't dirt.
Removing them takes a mild acidic treatment and a polishing compound, worked by hand. Once they're off, a glass protectant slows down how quickly they come back.
If your windows look cloudy or spotted no matter how often they're cleaned, this is why.
Do we clean commercial windows?
Yes — storefronts, offices, restaurants, and tasting rooms.
Main Street businesses have a specific problem: your glass is the first thing a visitor sees, and Fredericksburg gets a lot of visitors. Spotted or streaked storefront windows read as "closed" or "not worth stopping" from across the street.
We schedule commercial work around your hours — early mornings before opening, or after close. Most storefronts are done in under an hour.
Recurring schedules are available at the same plan discounts as residential.
What areas do we serve?
We're based in Fredericksburg and work across the Hill Country: Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Johnson City, Dripping Springs, and South Austin.
Fredericksburg and the immediate surrounding area is where we do most of our work, so scheduling there is usually quickest. For the outer towns we typically batch jobs into the same day, which sometimes means a few days' flexibility on timing — we'll tell you upfront when you call.
Not sure if you're in range? Call and ask.
What makes Clear Choice different?
The guarantee is specific. Find a streak or a missed spot within seven days and we come back and fix it at no charge. Not "satisfaction guaranteed" — a defined window and a defined remedy.
We show up when we said we would. If we're running late you'll hear from us before your appointment time, not after.
Screens and tracks are included, not upsold. See above.
We're local and independent. Not a franchise with a call center in another state. When you call, you're talking to the people who will be at your house.
We're rated 5.0 on Google.
